Colors make our world beautiful. Once your toddler starts identifying colors, you can start introducing color related games and toys. This helps reinforce what your toddler has learnt in addition to being tons of fun! Here are some great ones to try!
Connect The Dots
All you have to do is draw some dots or circles in 3 different colours. Your toddler should then try to connect the dots according to color. For example, he should draw a line connecting all the red dots. If you are feeling extra creative, you can draw the dots such that they form a shape or pattern. Try a star!
Just get 2 to 3 different colored cups. Mix them together and ask your toddler to sort the cups according to its color! Simple to set up and tons of fun! The best part is that this game costs practically nothing and there is also no mess to clean up after your toddler is done playing.
Arrange The Buttons
Similar to the cup sorting game above, all you have to do is get a few buttons in 2 to 3 different colors. Ask your toddler to sort the buttons according to color. To make this game more challenging and to also increase motor skills, you can ask your toddler to sort the buttons using only a pair of chopsticks!
We hope you find our top 3 suggestions fun. Keep in mind that these are merely games and you should not pressure your child into getting it correct the first time.
